this is my first time attending a ball, no prom night in secondary, no DND in poly. how sad right? but i am happy too cos my 1st time is with dardar. after work, i rushed down to grand copthrone already. dardar also just reached not long. haha. we have made reservation for a room cos i am too tired to travel ard. anyway easier for me to change. at least i can bath right. hee. the room was pretty cosy. i like it pretty much. rather big actually. haha. as compared to the room in my workplace. hehe. we got a rather quiet view facing the river. nice and cosy.




while dardar goes out to buy some snacks and drinks, i bath and slept in the room. i nearly lock him out actually. haha. so both of us slept while waiting for his frens to come. phone keeps ringing when it is about 6pm cos his frens are downstairs already. haha. gotta go down fetch them. all of them got changed and started the photo taking session in the room. haha. fun group of frens actually. their dates are pretty too except me who have not make-up. opps. we took so long end up we were rather late. dardar was busy running ard to get things for his platoon cos he is the last IC. so responsible huh. good for him. (aw he is lucky his wing com change his camp to tuas for him, if not everyday changi will die. haha.) we got a free photo taking session too when my face just look so round. argh.

so everyone was busy snapping photos and awaiting to go in for dinner. i just walk ard with dardar to do his job. haha. after, we went to reg ourselves and get some door gift. i got white roses. dardar got lotsa stuff, from champage glass with OCS logo to mini sword. how nice of them right? our seat was located just beside the aisle. dardar told me that our name will be announce when we enter but nah. nothing so that sort. guess wat? the mc was rob monteiro from class 95. wow. he joke quite a bit but not much cos i think the event com wanna make it classy. (try too hard actually cos the event was ok only) dinner served and it is suppose to be fine dining but no one bother at all. haha. they jus eat the normal way. why bother right? no one will go correcting you. not suppose to walk ard but once the VIP got settle down. before and after meals or basically the whole event, everyone was walking ard. haha. snapping pictures with each other, chatting and stuff. haha. jus like normal banquet. the food was great. i liked it pretty much. dardar make those orders for me and they are jus nice. he think before making orders for me. sweet of him. muack.
cold dish : steam prawns, mango & endive salad with lemon grass, kiwi fruit and basil salsa (i only ate the prawns. opps)
soup: lobster bisque with chive cream (very lobster taste and smell)
main dish : baked cod fish with curry mash potato, spinach and cherry tomatoes served with light butter sauce (fish very smooth. very delicious)
dessert: choc truffle cake with vanilla ice-cream and rasp sauce (yummy! but cake a bit sweet for me)
dardar had different cold dish and main dish.
cold dish : warm grilles salmon with asparagus & marinated celery on spicy chilled tomato sauce (i prefer his to mine)
main dish : roasted veal tenderloin, grilled asparagus and gratin potato with mushrooms (just nice, not very cooked. thumbs up)
i tot there will be like dance floor or something but nah. dun even have space. haha. we played a bit of games, listen to music (only jazz band) and continue with snappin pictures. haha. while having dessert, we watched the video taken by them, rather touchy but compared to the social night, i prefer the social night one cos more touching and closer to them, this time nth much actually. so disappointing even dardar and frens felt. lucky draw time, most of the pizes was won by charlie wing platoon 3. haha. funny sia but the main prize of the mini bike was to someone else. argh. it is so cute. very cute. wonder if it can be ride on. if possible, mayb only one person.

once the VIP left the room, photo sessions starts again. hehe. the things that is done most during the ball is photo-taking i guess other den eating. haha. the whole event was jus a ok.. was expecting more exciting but too bad. dardar n frens was rather disappointed too. still is the company that counts. haha. his frens dates was either girlfrens or frens or blind dates. hehe. they all look gorgeous just like me. haha. (no shame ah)

we went back to room to get changed and went to clarke quay to chill. dardar's fren drove and i brought them to orchard instead of clarke quay. opps. ps. funny incident. lucky i rem the way and got them to the correct place. haha. we laugh till i cried, talk, eat, drink, comment...lotsa things at TCC. really a fun group of frens dardar had. great to have them around. enjoyed myself a lot. wish to meet up with them soon again. gonna miss them too. hmmm.. aw, i think it is time for photos to speak.
